NEWS FLASH: Channing Tatum is Vanity Fair's Next Generation Man

It seems the new buzz word swarming around Channing Tatum is "Next Generation" and now Vanity Fair is using it to describe the uber hot and talented actor who has a ton of projects lined up for 2007, 2008, and 2009.

Other talented young actors mentioned in the article include Zac Efron (Hairspray), Charlie Fox (Stardust), Steven Strait (10,000 B.C.), Shia LaBeouf (Transformers), Kevin Zegers (The Jane Austin Book Club), Michael Pitt (Silk), Henry Cavill (The Tudors, Stardust), Paul Dano (Little Miss Sunshine), Ben Foster (Six Feet Under, 30 Days of Night), and Eddie Redmayne's (The Golden Age).

Hollywood's Next-Gen Men

You may not yet know their names, but Hollywood has a handful of handsome faces worth remembering. Like Vanity Fair's August cover boy, Shia LaBeouf, these talented young men are positioned for imminent success, and not just because they're easy on the eyes. Herewith, a look at young Hollywood's rising male stars.

Things are picking up for Channing Tatum: the up-and-comer shares the screen with Charlize Theron, Woody Harrelson, and Ray Liotta in December's Battle in Seattle, then will appear alongside Ryan Phillippe in Stop Loss, releasing next year.

I also hear that Channing will be in the September 2007 print issue of Vanity Fair that has Gisele Bündchen on the cover, so I will find out if that is true and post the scans in the blog as soon as possible.
