'Step Up 2: The Streets', which stars experienced dancers Robert Hoffman and Briana Evigan, has been busy filming in the Baltimore area for a month and a half now and Channing Tatum recently finished shooting his exciting cameo in the movie. For those familiar with the Baltimore area, as recently as last week, the movie was supposedly filming at East Oliver and Barclay on top of the old Lebow Clothes building, with the "Stab" water tower.
The film has also been making tons of updates to their official site and the latest update has exposed another possibility that I think will make fans very happy.
In the "Ask the Filmakers" section of the film's official site on MySpace, a fan sent in the following often asked question:
"Is the rumor true that Channing Tatum will make an appearance in this one?"
If you have been reading this blog for a bit, you know if Channing Tatum is going to be in the movie or not, but the director seems to imply that our beloved Jenna Dewan could possibly dance in the sequel too! :-D **fingers crossed**
You can now view the director, Jon Chu's, answer to the extremely commonly asked question below. Click here to view the video or you can view it below:
You can also click on the image below to finally view the winners of the Solo Dance and Dance Crew competions. These lucky dancers will make an appearance in the film and/or on the film's DVD, much like what we saw in Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan's 'Step Up'.
'Step Up 2: The Streets' has even added aim icons and wallpapers to the site and you can now find all of them in the Channing Tatum Unwrapped photo gallery.
Finally, just a reminder to all of the budding singers out there, 'Step Up 2: The Streets' will announce in October what you need to do to get an opportunity to appear as an official singer on the soundtrack.
