DEAL OF THE DAY: Channing Tatum's Movie A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints Showing at Ivy Film Festival

Here's a little treat for my US readers in or around Providence, Rhode Island...The sixth annual student-run Ivy Film Festival opens this week at Brown University.

The Ivy Film Festival is billed as the largest student-run international film and screenplay festival in the United States and all events are open to the public.

Channing Tatum's critically-acclaimed movie A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints will be playing at the festival on Friday April 13, 2007 from 10:30pm - 12:30am in the Stuart Theatre.

The movie's writer and director, Dito Montiel, will introduce the film that won him the 2006 Best Director award at Sundance Film Festival, with a Q&A to follow the film.

Although I am fairly certain Channing won't be there, this is a great opportunity to see the movie and Channing's amazing performance in their full glory on the big screen, and I hear that Dito is pretty cool too.

This is a Deal of the Day, because you can click here to purchase tickets to see the film for only $1.

Love Channing Tatum?

I might go seeee it! I might go seeeeeee it! When my mom gets home, we're gonna talk about it some more, and she's already leaning towards a yes! I haven't told her how late it is though. =P We'll leave that out for now. ;)

THANK YOU FOR TELLING US ABOUT THIS! I officially love you!

And don't take that in a creepy-stalker way. =P

I'm not going. =[ It's too late at night.

I'll just buy the movie instead, so I can watch it over and over on Friday to make up for it. =]

I'm sorry. But the silver lining is that you will be able to watch it anytime you want now. That is even better as far as I am concerned.
