Some day last winter I took my schoolboy kid to the movies. He chose “Step Up”. O’kay. I was the only old folk among the teenagers there. A group of girls behind us chewing popcorn and chips whispered all the time, “O, Channing! Look, look, how cute he is!!! Oh, he is so hot, you see? Yeah…Gosh, why isn’t he my classmate instead of all those idiots?…Oh, Channing!!!”
Coming back home I asked my young counterpart,
- Did you like this movie?
- Well, it’s for little girls. – And after a while he went on,
- Are any dance studios near our place?
- Yeah, why?
- I wanna dance like Channing.
I need not other positive reviews of the film. That one was the best for me.
Thanks, Natalie, for your information about “Step Up” premiere on the TNT – hope we’ll be able to watch it again tomorrow.
