NEWS FLASH: Channing Tatum's 'G.I. Joe' Moves to the Czech Republic
Today a 'G.I. Joe' producer in Prague let the Prague Post know the film will be shooting a big car chase scene in and around Barrandov Film Studios in May.
"It's going to be one big car chase," said David Minkowski, of the Czech production company, Stillking Films. "Director Stephen Sommers, who made both 'Mummies,' and who filmed 'Van Helsing' here, loves Prague and action."
As I mentioned a few months ago, 'G.I. Joe' originally started filming in early February for approximately 5 weeks in California. Filming is set to start up again as early as next week, and the article says it will bring several big Hollywood names to Prague, including Dennis Quaid, Sienna Miller, Dwayne Johnson, and Channing Tatum.
Minkowski also mentioned that filming will take over large chunks of Prague Old Town. Residents and store owners in the affected streets have already been notified about the production.

I'm sorry, but I don't know how long he will be in Prague.
thanks blog!
I was told that he's not gonna be here but well, I'm not sure now.
The article could have been wrong. Lainy, who told you that he was not going to be there?
Can't tell you who told me that but this person is 100% reliable however I got this information maybe two months ago so there might have been some changes I don't know about. anyway, I'm going to Prague tomorrow with my friend and we'll be definitely hanging around the Prague's Old Town so maybe if the filmmakers are already there I would be able to tell you more :)
Cool! Keep me posted. Again, my source is the article, because I don't ask about filming locations. If you get any more details that you can share, then definitely let me know.
Thanks,
