NEWS FLASH: Channing Tatum's Publicist Gets Big Promotion
Having a good publicist in Hollywood is a must for any successful actor. They help to create a buzz around the actor and promote them by getting press coverage everywhere imaginable. To put it simply, publicists are often the middleman between a high-profile personality and members of the media.
The Hollywood Reporter just announced that Channing Tatum's long-time publicist Evelyn Karamanos has been promoted from Vice President to Senior Vice President at the newly renamed WKT Public Relations.
Karamanos has steadily climbed the WKT ladder over the past few years. She joined the 19-year-old company in 2002 after starting her career at high-profile PR firm CAA and was promoted to Vice President in April of 2004. In addition to Chan, she also currently represents established actors like Kiefer Sutherland ( "24" ) and up-and-coming actress Amanda Seyfried ( "Veronica Mars", "Big Love" ).
