NEW FLASH: Theatrical Release Postponed for Channing Tatum's 'Battle in Seattle'
I just learned from Leigh, the webmaster over at Michelle Rodriguez's official site, that Channing Tatum's drama 'Battle in Seattle' will not be released in March as originally planned.
For fans who are keeping tabs...yes, this is the second time the release date has shifted since ThinkFilm purchased the US distribution rights for the film after it's successful world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
Although there is not an exact release date yet, the studio is saying that 'Battle in Seattle' will now have its US theatrical release in April or May. The movie was also supposed to release in France on April 2nd, Netherlands on June 5th, and Belgium on June 25, but I assume those release dates could possibly shift too.
Stay tuned to Channing Tatum Unwrapped, and I will keep you posted on the new release dates for the film.
Thanks, Leigh, for the update!!!
