REMINDER: Watch Channing Tatum's 'Battle in Seattle' at Cleveland International Film Festival TODAY!!!
This is just a quick reminder to Channing Tatum Fans in the Cleveland area that you can see Channing's Stuart Townsend directed drama 'Battle in Seattle' before it's September 2008 release at the 32nd Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF) today Saturday, March 15th at 2:15 pm.
Tickets are available at the box office only and cost $10 for members and $12 for non-members. The tickets for this film are currently on a "STAND BY" status at the festival. Here's an explanation of what that means....
On occasion, certain films are temporarily put on STAND BY while they adjust theater capacity. So please continue to visit the 'Battle in Seattle' page on the CIFF website for STAND BY changes and updates.
Even though 'Battle in Seattle' is on STAND BY at CIFF, you may still be able to get a seat by following these 3 steps:
1) Buy a STAND BY ticket at the Baker Hostetler STAND BY Lounge (located on the Walkway to Gateway, before the entrance to Tower City Cinemas). STAND BY tickets are on sale ONE HOUR BEFORE the film's show time; however, lines to buy STAND BY tickets sometimes form earlier. Tickets are sold in numerical order. Only cash or 32nd CIFF vouchers are accepted.I was lucky enough to see 'Battle in Seattle' at the US premiere at the South by Southwest film festival this past Monday, and I can say with all certainty that you should make every effort to go see this exceptional film. The Cleveland International Film Festival takes place at Tower City Center in the heart of downtown Cleveland with easy access from any location. Click here for maps and directions.
2) Then rest easy until 10 MINUTES BEFORE SHOWTIME – 10 MINUTES BEFORE SHOWTIME return to the Baker Hostetler STAND BY Lounge where ticket holders are admitted in numerical order until the screening is sold out.
3) Enjoy the show! If you are not admitted, you will receive a full refund at the Baker Hostetler STAND BY Lounge. If you bought your STAND BY ticket with a voucher, you will receive a voucher as your refund; if you paid cash, you'll receive a cash refund.
