New DVD & Blu-ray Release Date for Channing Tatum's 'Battle in Seattle'
Channing Tatum's drama 'Battle in Seattle' was recently released for rental on DVD exclusively at Blockbusters all across the US. It was also scheduled to be sold in US and Canadian retail stores on March 10th, but I have now learned that we'll have to wait a few more days to buy the movie. Three to be exact...
Although you will still find the old release date on most sites on the internet, my sources have confirmed that the DVD and Blu-ray will now be released on March 13, 2009.
The film's official MySpace has also been updated with the new release date and allows you to pre-order the movie on DVD and Blu-ray. As I mentioned in previous posts, the videos are also available for preorder on Amazon.com.
I've been told that they still plan on releasing a special 2-disc DVD for 'Battle in Seattle' shortly after March 13th, but they're still working on the special features for it. I will give you a release date as soon as I have it.

UPDATE (2/9/2009): I was just told today that the DVD release date has now been moved back to March 10th, and the film has updated their official MySpace page to reflect the new date. Sorry for the confusion, but hopefully this new old date will stick this time.
