RUMOR OR REEL?: Channing Tatum Addresses the Twilight Rumors

Channing Tatum (in his Adriano Goldschmied Men's Protégé Jean in 25 Years) and his fiancee Jenna Dewan (in her Current Elliott Boyfriend Jean in Super Loved Destroyed) were leaving the Sunset 5 theater in West Hollywood on Sunday after seeing 'Star Trek' when they were approached by tons of fans and paparazzi wanting photos and autographs.

They gladly obliged, and Chan addressed the Twilight casting rumors I mentioned on the blog a little while ago. Check it out in the Hollywood.TV video below...

In the video, Chan says he learned about the rumors like most of us...by reading them online. Wonder if he read it here on CTU? ;-D

However he learned about it, doesn't really matter. What we do know is that, although 'Twilight' and 'New Moon' screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg thinks Channing is the perfect actor to play the role of Riley in 'Eclipse', Chan has not been formally offered the part...yet.

From the hundreds of comments that fans have been leaving on all of the CTU sites, it's quite clear to me that you all want to see him in this role as much as (or maybe even more than) the screenwriter does.

The one thing I've learned from doing CTU is that ANYTHING is possible. If fans keep being vocal about it, you never know what could happen, so don't give up hope!
