FAN ENCOUNTER: Acting with 'Dear John's Channing Tatum & Amanda Seyfried
The new photo on this post shows Channing Tatum leaving the set of his most recent film, 'Dear John', on October 21, 2008 when they were filming on the Isle of Palms beach in Charleston, South Carolina.
As I previously reported, Channing wrapped filming on his Lasse Hallström-directed, highly-anticipated romantic drama last week. Today's Fab Fan Encounter comes to us via fan and extra Jeff Stockhausen, who recently had the opportunity to work with Channing Tatum and his 'Dear John' co-star, Amanda Seyfried, on two of the sets of the movie that will be released some time late in 2009.
Here's what Jeff had to say about his fan encounter...
"I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to visit a friend on the set of Dear John Tuesday (12/16) and Wednesday (12/17). The first day was at the infirmary at the Citadel and the second was at the studio on Dobbin Rd. I will say that Channing is one of the most down to earth actors I’ve ever met. He was well liked by the crew and always making people laugh. On the second day I was asked to be an extra soldier in a scene with Channing. I also got to meet Amanda Seyfried the second day and she was very friendly too. They both had no problem with me getting pictures with them. She was going to [England] to see friends she made while filming 'Mamma Mia!' and Channing was going to a relative’s wedding after the last day of shooting which was Thursday. Great experience and one I’ll never forget!"Jeff was even kind enough to send us two photos that he took with Chan and Amanda...

Big thanks to Jeff for sharing his fan counter and great photos!!! If you happen to run into Chan or Jenna, send your photos and/or fan encounter stories to fanencounters@channingtatumunwrapped.com. I will post them on the blog to share with envious fans all around the globe! ;-)
