NEWS FLASH: 'Step Up 2' and Special Edition 'Step Up' DVD's Bundled Together for July 2008 UK Release
Here's the cover for the UK Region 2 DVD for Channing Tatum, Robert Hoffman, and Briana Evigan's worldwide dance hit 'Step Up 2: The Streets'.
Universal Pictures just announced that the UK DVD will actually be released one day before the Region 1 DVD in the US. UK fans can buy the new DVD on July 14, 2008, and it's retailing for £19.99.
And to make up for the fact that the UK Region 2 DVD release of Chan's 2006 movie 'Step Up' did not include the extras we had on the US version for some reason, Universal has decided to re-release the movie with all of the goodies in a Special Edition bundle with the sequel.
The 'Step Up' / 'Step Up 2 The Streets' Double the Dance box-set will retail for £24.99, and the special edition content on the first film includes the following:
- Deleted Scenes
- Bloopers
- ‘Making the Moves’ Featurette
- Feature Commentary by Anne Fletcher (Director Step Up / Producer Step Up 2), Hip Hop Choreographer Jamal Sims and Stars Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan
- Music Videos:
- “Step Up” – Samantha Jade
- “(When you gonna) Give It Up To Me” – Sean Paul featuring Keisha Cole
- “Say Goodbye” – Chris Brown
- “Get Up” – Ciara
Here's a blast from the past that I think you all will enjoy. Like 'Step Up', I've watched this interview tons of times, and I love it every single time! Oddly enough, it's one of the few interviews that Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan did together when they were promoting 'Step Up'.It's their appearance on CBS's The Early Show with co-anchor Rene Syler where they treated the audience by showing them some of their signature moves and gave Syler a short dance lesson on the ever-popular B-More Bounce.
