NEWS FLASH: Channing Tatum's 'Battle in Seattle' Launches New Interactive Website
I wanted to let everyone know that Channing Tatum's upcoming drama 'Battle in Seattle' just released their new interactive official website. Fans can now sign up to try to win four free tickets to attend the New York, San Fransisco, or Los Angeles premiere of the film and can also learn how to spread the word about the film on Facebook, MySpace, and other social networking sites. Finally, fans can learn more on how to see the film by volunteering to mobilize a theater take over in your city.
While you're on the site, you can also read cast profiles, get information on the filmmakers, check out production stills, and get tons of interesting background information on the film.
Finally, they added a cool new feature to the site where fans can follow director Stuart Townsend through the streets of Seattle as he describes what happened at the most important locations during the protest.
Based on one of the most incendiary political uprisings in a generation, 'Battle in Seattle' takes an in-depth look at the five days that rocked the world in 1999 as tens of thousands of demonstrators took to the streets in protest of the World Trade Organization. In the film, Channing Tatum plays a riot cop by the name of Johnson.
'Battle in Seattle' is scheduled to have a limited release in the US on September 19, 2008 in New York, Seattle, and San Francisco and releases in Los Angeles on September 26, 2008. Fans who want to try to bring the film to your city need let the filmmakers know it. CLICK HERE to demand that the movie be shown in your city today!!!
