REMINDER: Channing Tatum's 'Stop-Loss' Premieres in Spain and Australian Release is Pushed Back

I have great news for all of Channing Tatum's Fabulous Fans in Spain.  His latest drama 'Stop-Loss' has finally premiered in your country!!!

In Spain, the film is actually called 'Ausente', and you can now check out Channing Tatum in his role as dedicated army Sgt. Steve Shriver in a movie theater near you.

Here is the Spanish summary that was released for the film:

Dirigida por Kimberly Peirce, con guión suyo y de Mark Richard, ‘Ausente’ nos cuenta que el sargento Brandon King, un condecorado héroe de la guerra de Iraq, regresa a su pequeño pueblo de Texas. Brandon intenta adaptarse a la vida civil con la ayuda de su familia y de Steve Shriver, su mejor amigo que también estuvo con él en Iraq. Brandon y Steve, con otros veteranos amigos, se esfuerzan en acoplarse a una vida que ya habían olvidado hasta que el Ejército vuelve a llamarle para otro periodo de servicio en Iraq. El mundo de Brandon se derrumba. De pronto se encuentra en el centro de un conflicto que pondrá a prueba todos los valores en los que ha basado su vida: la unión con la familia, la lealtad a los amigos, los límites del amor y el valor del honor.

Thus far, this post has been good news for Chan's Spanish fans, but the news is sadly not as good for our fellow Aussie fans. The release of 'Stop-Loss' in Australia has been pushed out to  August 14, 2008, so be on the look out for the film towards the end of the summer (instead of this month) in your country.
