Jenna Dewan is featured in this week's US Weekly magazine for an outfit she wore to the Nylon Magazine TV issue launch party this past August. If you remember some of my previous posts, this isn't the first time Jenna's fashion choice for this particular event has been spotlighted (i.e. FabSugar and People Magazine).
You can check out my latest obsession (a pair of L.A.M.B. Rasta Boots that I recently tweeted about and have added to my X-mas wish list), Channing Tatum's adorable wife, and her trend-setting over-the-knee boots in US Weekly's October 19, 2009 issue below...
Jen is actually in Scotland right now visiting Chan as he films his Roman epic 'Eagle of the Ninth' in Achiltibuie, near Ullapool. They started shooting key scenes for the film on Wednesday and will reportedly continue to shoot in the area through Monday.
The weather has been pretty bad recently and Jenna confirms that fact and her love for Chan in a recent tweet...
"Im with Chan as he is filming on top of a mountain in Scotland,20 min muddy hike to get to set,it's freezing and raining..this is true love!"There have been reports that the production team will also be using 3 locations within the Coigach area of Scotland...Fox Point (near Dornie Harbor overlooking the Summer Isles), Achnahaird and Loch Lurigan.
'The Eagle of the Ninth' is based on the best-selling, classic 1954 teen novel by Rosemary Sutcliff, and is set in the dangerous world of second-century Britain.
In 140 AD, twenty years after the unexplained disappearance of the entire Ninth Legion in the mountains of Scotland, young centurion Marcus Aquila (played by Channing) arrives from Rome to solve the mystery and restore the reputation of his father, the commander of the Ninth.
Accompanied only by his British slave Esca (Jamie Bell), Marcus sets out across Hadrian's Wall into the uncharted highlands of Caledonia - to confront its savage tribes, make peace with his father's memory, and retrieve the lost legion's golden emblem, the Eagle of the Ninth. Donald Sutherland portrays Marcus' uncle Aquila, who has retired in Britain; Mark Strong is cast as Guern, an ex-soldier who holds crucial information about the Ninth.
Chan's 'The Eagle of the Ninth' won't hit theaters until some time in 2010, but Jenna's fans can pick up a copy of this week's US Weekly on newsstands now!!!
